Why Our Screens Make us less Happy – Adam Alter

Why our screens make us less happy – Adam Alter

A person who is Mentally Tough is better able to focus on achieving goals and targets without being distracted too heavily by the constant noise available to us today, thanks to technological advances.  They are better able to set standards and develop routines that help make them more productive and happier.   They tend to see life clearer.

For many people this is not so easy and they become addicted to technology wasting countless hours, days and years of their life.

In this TED talk, Adam Alter, associate professor of marketing at New York University’s Stern School of Business and author of the two best sellers ‘Drunk Tank Pink’ and ‘Irresistible’ explores the harmfulness of society’s addiction to technology and social media.
